A week ago I finally got to shoot this save the date which I’d been planning for a while, I have been looking for new ways to shoot these short and sweet videos to capture even more of our couples personalities, and what awesome and perfect couple Jaye and Xavier was for this! To introduce them, they are massive Pearl Jam fans and I mean real fans. Pearl Jam recently did a tour around Australia and they went to almost every one of their concerts, and it didn’t finish there, then they hoped over to New Zealand to see them one more time – pretty cool!! On top of that they love music with a passion. So I came up with a concept that would incorporate both their wedding planning and also Pearl Jam. I am so glad we finally got to shoot it as I have been itching to get this on tape. So I won’t ramble on any more, and cheers for Jaye and Xavier letting me get creative

While on our winter break to Port Douglas Peter was keen to try out our new toy the Panasonic GH1 and luckily for us my newly engaged sister and my soon-to-be brother-in-law were not hard to convince to be our test subjects! It was a beautiful day on Four Mile Beach and we had fun playing around in the sun. Check out the results in the fun and sexy save the date!

This was a little save the date shoot we did last Wednesday for Kim and Michael. They were so easy to work with and couldn’t stop smiling. Their wedding day sounds awesome and we look forward to capturing their day.

From Behind the Lense….
Now, most people will tell you I am a show off at the best of times but modelling for photos is actually much harder than it looks!! The lovely Jess from J-Studios was kind enough to take some portrait photos of us in Wattle Park in Box Hill. I have driven past this place so many times and I never realised what a little wild bush land it was right in the city!
Jess took some funky promotional photos and then a few lovely dovey ones for fun. And we got to show off our ninja moves too! It was a great fun session and you can see the rest of the photos of J-Studios blog. Thanks Jess!
Greg & Steph Engagement shoot
Last week we had the great fortune to work with funky Melbourne photographer Jessie Broome from J-studios. We are currently shooting examples of her work for an upcoming promo video (stay tuned!) and tagged along to her engagement session with Steph and Greg. We had a fantastic time working with Jess and cant wait to shoot our next instalments, but in the mean time we wanted to make a special little Save the Date video for Steph and Greg to say thanks for letting us come on your engagement shoot – you guys were awesome!

Samantha & Emir | Save the Date 14.02.2009
We had lots of fun with Samantha & Emir making this video down at the beach in Geelong. This location was special for them as this is where they shared their first kiss! The weather was lovely for a day at the beach, which was fortunate since we had to postpone the first shoot due to bad weather.
Samantha and Emir are such a fun couple, they laughed the whole day, were up for anything and we can’t wait to shoot their wedding in February!
