The view out past the marina to the Keppel islands was misty with light rain, but that didn’t faze Breanna. Today she was marrying her childhood sweetheart Ryan – come rain, hail or shine. She had even embraced the wet weather and had bought all her bridesmaids designer gumboots, so they were in for fun no matter the weather! Geoff from Geoffery Sinclair Photography did an amazing job taking photos around a slightly wet Rosslyn Bay Resort and you can see some of these stunning images on his blog

It was just over week after we had packed up our lives in Melbourne and relocated to Yeppoon, that my sister got married. Amongst the influx of interstate guests, the arrival of moving boxes and the last minute preparations for the wedding, it was a hectic time to say the least! At the time my thoughts got lost in the whirlwind of activity, so now I am taking this opportunity to express my happiness on such a awesome event…

Firstly to Marcus, welcome to the Howlett family – I am not sure you realised when you asked Sarah to marry you that you were actually taking on the all of us, but I am glad you have accepted the challenge! You are such a kind hearted, generous and supportive person, Sarah is lucky to have you in her life and so are we. Thank you for making Sarah happy. Every day, I can see in your words, your actions, your eyes how much you love my sister. And the way you have embraced us all is truly appreciated, from accepting my unladylike eating habits, to Dad parading in his y-fronts and the endless lists of handyman jobs from Mum – you are now officially part of our family.

To my sister Sarah, mein Schwest. I love you. Not only for our mutual appreciation for Revenge of the Nerd movies, old fried dimsims and our wicked tag team dance routines, but for the other stuff too. For being a great listener, a positive influence, being up for anything, for embracing the crazy! I know I can always rely on you, for the serious stuff and for the silly stuff too! You are a beautiful person, a wonderful sister and a great friend. I am so glad you have found Marcus, I know you two will create a wonderful life together and we are so grateful to be able to part of it.

MELBOURNE WEDDING: NATALIE & KENNETH // Fun Epic Trailer

Their day was destined to be beautiful, the ceremony in the botanical gardens, weather was perfect. But could everything go as planned? Nat and Kenny were super fun couple to be with and we made a little tongue in cheek trailer of something that happened just before the ceremony which I am sure they’ll have a good laugh at now.

Lauren & Darren Trailer

Been a while since we posted, here is a little sneak peak from Lauren and Darren’s wedding I shot in November. It was a beautifully vintage themed wedding and Lauren really went all out from the dress to the bus. I really enjoyed working with Paul from Icon Pictures who took beautiful images and I am sure that Lauren and Darren will be wrapped with his photos.

I’ll post more about the day when we put up the highlight.

Last Saturday we got to share Rebecca and Davids wedding. They were relaxed and so much into the day which gave us a chance to really capture their story. These guys are really keen on our cinematic style and keen retro music fans so I decide to try something different and combine the 2 styles into somewhat nontraditional trailer.

Kim & Michael Trailer

Last weekend we had such a great time shooting Kim & Michaels wedding on probably the perfect day of the year, clear skies, no wind and a warm 26C and that’s just the beginning, the out door ceremony was just beautiful followed by a very warm and welcoming reception.

When I was coming up with the idea for this trailer I was very much inspired by a film noire style and Chris Makridis, who was the photographer on the day, I think it really suits the feel of the day.

Valentines Day – we had the pleasure to film Samantha & Emir’s wedding at The Rose in Torquay. We had lots of fun shooting this, these guys were just so full of joy and happiness, they were the prime example of the meaning “the happiest day of your life”.

Charlotte & Ry Trailer

Last weekend we had the privilege to be both the videographers and guests at Charlotte and Ry’s wedding in Apollo Bay. All week the forecast for their outside wedding at the Beacon Point Ocean Villas was looking grim, but luck was obviously on their side because the clouds parted and the sun even made an appearance for the ceremony!

Charlotte looked absolutely amazing in her beautiful Collette Dinnigan dress and the reception held at Chris’s Restaurant was spectacular in both the stunning view and Mo’s delicious food! Ry & Charotte are off to Margaret River for their honeymoon this weekend, so we a glad to be able to give them a quick sneak peak of their wedding video before they go!

Debbie & David’s Trailer

We had a wonderful time filming Deb and Dave’s wedding, it was a joy to film a couple so much in love. We got some great footage and I have put together a quick trailer for them to enjoy before they jet set off to Europe for two months, what a fantastic honeymoon!
