EMU PARK WEDDING: TENILLE & SHANNON // Perfect Moments

When I think back to the first time I spoke to Tenille, I remember the distinctive description she made about Shannon was how romantic he was, how he has always done little suprises for her and that he was a real gentlemen. What really top it off was the story of his amazing proposal, which even made the local papers! He had booked a chartered flight for the two of them and had the plane to fly past a huge paddock where he had made a huge love heart, with the words “Tenille will you marry me?” in calico letters.

Tenille and Shannon’s wedding day was no different – full of romantic gestures and special touches that made it such an intimate and beautiful celebration of the special connection these two had. Shannon had put a lot of thought into making sure their wedding day was filled with perfect moments, every one letting Tenille know how much he loved her. And at their ceremony of the cliff at Rita Mata, Tenille’s vows showed Shannon and everyone present, just how much he was loved in return.

Tenille and Shannon, may your marriage be a long and happy one, and may your wedding highlight remind you of a day filled with perfect moments.

MARGARET RIVER: LIZZY & ERIC // Always at Arm’s Length

It’s amazing how the internet connects the world. When we moved to Central Queensland, we thought we were leaving all our interstate couples behind – instead we have been back to Melbourne to TEN times to shoot weddings in the past year, not to mention traveling to weddings in Palm Cove, Byron Bay and now Western Australia! Being able to reach across Australia to find awesome couples is so amazing to us and we are so grateful to be able to live in this beautiful paradise and still be able to travel and do the work we love.

The internet was a godsend to Lizzy and Eric when planning their wedding – they had spent many years studying in Perth, but Lizzy was trying to organise their special day from home in Indonesia. As fate (or Google!) would have it, Lizzy stumbled across our website and contacted us about covering her wedding in Western Australia. So in August I made the journey across the country to be part of Lizzy and Eric’s wedding in the beautiful Margaret River region south of Perth. Their day was a wonderful, relaxed family affair with a great mix of eastern and western wedding traditions and the Laurence Wines provided so many amazingly locations as the backdrop to the start of their marriage.

ROCKHAMPTON WEDDING: HOLLEA & DAVID // The Three of Us

David had been single a while, long enough for his parents to resign themselves to this fact and buy a new house big enough for the three of them to live in together. Somewhere across town, Hollea and her friends were lamenting over the lack of potential boyfriends and worrying about their fate should they never meet Mr Right. Fortunately for them both, cupid had other plans and not long after the furniture was unloaded, Hollea and David’s paths crossed and they knew the had found the one.

David’s parents place might have felt a bit empty after David moved out with Hollea, but it was full to the brim on a gloriously sunny winters day when family and friends gather in the Whitings backyard to witness Hollea and David make it official. And their beautiful daughter Poppy was there to share the moment, as her Mum and Dad declared their love for each other and their promises for the future as a family.

PROMO TIME FOR MATT AND KATIE PHOTOGRAPHERS

Last year we headed down to Toowoomba for a few days to spend with Matt and Katie who I’ve known for a few years now. They have been shooting weddings together but the Potraits part of the business was still under the old business name so to make it simple for them and everyone else they have decided to merge it all to one Matt and Katie Photographers and so thats where we came in and Matt approached me to put together a promo film for them.

M and I had such a blast capturing the amazing locations and the beautiful kids and parents. There was so many good shots but working closely together with Matt as he himself used to be a video producer came up with something that reflects their business and who they are as photographers.

YEPPOON WEDDING: DIANE & OLIVER // In The Air

Di and Ollie’s wedding was something they will never forget, as Diane’s father concluded his beautiful speech “Love truly is, in the Air today” it meant so much for them and was very true. The magic of the day was just amazing, As Diane was getting ready in the morning and sharing the time with her best friends she was already getting emotional. What else made it so special is that Diane was pregnant and she was just radiating with joy and happiness, I certainly couldn’t describe the moment when they were speaking their vows to each other, what amazing feelings they would have felt at that moment. The very last thing that did make it magical is the nature, they both have a passion for marine biology conservation and mother nature was certainly there to celebrate with them, bringing the best temperature, calm waves and beautiful light to their wedding day.

They are our first ever couple in Yeppoon, Diane had contacted us to film their wedding even before we had moved. So we have to say a big thanks to them and wish them all the best in the marriage, and also congratulate them on their first born who could be saying hello to the world any minute now!!

YEPPOON WEDDING: AMBERLEY & JAMES // I Will Follow

Happy New Year!!

Our first post of 2011 is the lovely Amberley and James! On the auspicious date of the 10th of the 10th 2010 (10/10/10), Amberley and James got married on the beautiful foreshore outside Manta’s on the Beach at Cooee Bay, Yeppoon. With a light breeze coming up from the ocean and shaded under the canopy of a beautiful old tree, Amberley and James exhanged their vows of love and committment, surrounded by family and friends.

We hope their wedding date brings them a little extra sprinkle of good fortune in their lives together!

Kim and Michael Highlight

We have the pleasure of presenting Kim and Micheal’s wedding highlight. The day was perfect for a garden wedding at Rippon Lea Estate and allowed us to capture their day beautifully. They were so happy together enjoying the family and friends around them. In this highlight I wanted to capture the love that was between them and represent their happiness that we also saw in their save the date video.

Our time with Samantha and Emir have come full circle – from their Save the Date video shot in October, to the trailer of their Valentines Day wedding and now we are excited to present their wedding highlight video.
